Synopsis
Myriam is a single woman raising a young son. She meets and is immediately drawn to Pierre, an art forger with an interest in Soutine's work. They go on a long vacation together, taking in Paris, New York, and Turkey (where they see the original settings for the paintings). Myriam loses her camera - it is found by the brooding Marc, a scientifically-minded man who believes that there is no such thing as luck or coincidence in life. However, on viewing Myriam's film, he becomes obsessed with her, and decides to track her down. This shift in prespective on his life ultimately makes him question his refusal of the power of ate.
