Synopsis
After the death of his father, frustrated and angry teen Brian fires his gun erratically into the woods near his house. He nearly kills Melanie, a suburban housewife who looks after a wild pumpkin patch. The two have little in common: she can't understand his youthful angst and he can't understand her attempts to fashion meaning from her everyday life. But throughout the day, they begin to experience not only connection but attraction.
