Synopsis
Maple is a young woman who has never gotten over her mother's death. When her father sells the family home she discovers an old diary belonging to her mother, from the years before her marriage. Maple goes on a voyage of discovery, discovering her mother anew as a young, idealistic and sexual woman. She also comes upon a violent family secret. The past seems to be repeating itself when her brother assaults his girlfriend, making Maple's reassessment of her family past more urgent.
