Synopsis
A young black woman from Toronto feels trapped by her low-income community, and doesn't relate to her family. She wants to discover her African identity and so she enrolls in an exchange program and goes to work on a Quebec farmstead. While there she meets an exchange worker from Mali. However, none of her expectations are met and she reaches a surprising conclusion about her own sense of self.
