Synopsis
Set in Wushan, a town on the banks of the Yangtse River, the story centers on the introverted Mai Qiang, 30, a signal station manager whose only job seems to be occasionally changing the sign denoting traffic flows on the river. Mai's serene existence hinges on its simplicity, so accordingly, his life becomes a spiraling mess when he is wrongfully accused of raping another woman.
