Synopsis
Smoky Mountain which lies north of manila, is the name of the largest slum in Asia. It sits on the edge of a huge dump, a veritable mountain of garbage, and is home to 200,000 residents including the teenagers documented in the film, who eke out a living sifting through the garbage for bottles and cans to recycle. In the midst of the appalling squalor, these teenagers still manage to dream of better things and fall in and out of love.
