Synopsis
A painterly, postmodern murder mystery, in which many clues are presented, many voices are heard, and many fragments of narrative are glimpsed and repaeated from different points of view, but from which no clear conclusions may be drawn. These fragments and clues are wonderfully unsettling, as we're never entirely certain if we're sill "inside" the narrative, or hearing somebnting that could just as well have been "outside" of the narrative proper. The net effect of the visual non-sequiturs, red-herrings, aural fragments and seeming dead-ends, leaves the viewer with associations and resonances that extend beyond what is actually seen and heard. The whole does indeed become more than the sum of its parts.
