The film was directed by Andrei Ujica from the Space Command Center on earth, with much of the footage shot by cosmonauts themselves. In addition to this incredible never-before-seen material are breathtaking sequences achieved by sending the 35mm camera into space, producing the first cinema of the cosmos. The camera, along with some dailies, burned up on re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere.
