Synopsis
Joey, a penniless female drifter, joins forces with two street thugs who decide to kidnap the daughter of a local celebrity author. Naturally the plan backfires, but it is revealed that Joey has an ulterior motive for suggesting the kidnapping. The father of the victim comes to seem more suspicious, and family and emotional concerns take over from the crime plot in resolving the mystery.
