Synopsis
Set on Goree Island off the coast of Senegal, a young man seeks refuge from present day strife--traumatized by the violence he sees embedded in the world around him. Though no pictures captured the brutality of Goree Island's slave trade, it retains memories of profound horror and strength. Thusly, to escape from the violence, he takes refuge in his imigination, and finds himself confronted with a piece of history of the black people--the slave trade.
