Synopsis
A collection of three tales spread throughout the country of Chile. The first--"Don't Fall for That"--is set in urban Santiago where Gonzales, a cocky, minor league soccer player, gets a chance at the big time. All he has to do is avoid scoring a goal for one game. This fix causes him untold problems. The second story--"The Last Goal Wins"--is set in a small town in northern Chile where a group of poor kids are delighted when a pro-quality soccor ball is kicked over the stadium fence from where they are trying to watch the game. The last chapter--"The Passion of Crowds"--has city boy Francisco stuck on a remote southern island, who accepts an offer from two spooky ladies to watch Chile's World Cup match with Germany on their TV.
