Synopsis
Sam and Iris, a German couple in the twilight of their years, have found a new life for themselves in the US. Together they compose and elaborate ritual theater with live animals and marionettes. Secluded from the world, they plan to live out their lives in the quiet peace of a Rhode Island farmhouse. However, when a tabloid TV host begins to unearth their past, Sam and Iris find themselves in a battle to keep private their personal histories.
