Synopsis
A misanthopic, grizzled lighthouse keeper has a daughter that is his only love. He refuses, however, to accept that as she grows older, she begins to develop sexual desires. As a consequence, he renegs on a promise to take her to the mainland. Left on the island, her imagination takes the place of any real suitor as she creates Saulo, the wind itself, who, in turn, takes her as his lover.
