Synopsis
An eleven year old girl and her younger brother live in a remote village in Anatolia. In four episodes corresponding to the seasons, they experience many elements of life and relationships. In winter, the girl is having trouble fitting in at school; in spring the children play in a cemetery; in summer they overhear their parents talking about war, hunger, poverty and family; and in fall we see their dreams and hopes.
