Synopsis
An off-beat documentary consisting of rephotographed, at times reframed, color-tinted archival footage, lyrically assembled to give a visually experimental account of wartime displacement. Focusing on World War I, the principal focus is the life of prisoners and refugees as recorded in footage shot for propaganda purposes--hailing both from Czarist Russia and the Austro-Hungarian empire.
