Synopsis
A triad of tales unfolding over the Easter weekend in a stylized inner-city setting. The stories center around three young Black protagonists: Maxine, a successful window dresser whose hard-fought choices plunge her relationship into crisis; Jordan, a talented but confused boxer who, after a brutal gaybashing, faces up to his own demons; and the General, an artist fresh out of jail who faces old temptations while trying to make a clean break from his troubled past. Weaving these tales together are the provocative tirades of Rude, a mysterious and sultry young woman operating the pirate radio channel who infiltrates each character's life, providing wit, irony, and finally catharsis for all.
