Synopsis

Set at the start of the 19th century, Albert is a glassblower who lives with his wife Sofia and their two children, Klas and Klara. The family is happy but find it hard to make ends meet. In another part of the country lives a royal family whose mistress is completely spoiled and her husband, the master, who dotes upon her. The mistress decides she wants children and her husband dispatches his driver to find some appropriate kids. He comes back, having kidnapped the glassblowers children, deprives the youngsters of their memories, and forces them to live in the castle.
