Synopsis
Trapped in a tenuous marriage, mousy, unassertive Magali lets her husband live with the mistaken impression that she is expecting her first child. Her husband, Alain, a radio reporter, subsequently turns down a yearlong assignment in Canada as the prospect of fatherhood renews his interest in the relationship. Going to extraordinary lengths to preserve the lie leads Magali to a desperate 11th hour solution.
