Synopsis
Having been forcibly separated from his pregnant wife, Reza, a former war hostage of the Iraqis, returns home, nine years later, to reclaim his family. He is not only confronted by the fact that his wife died during childbirth; but also that he now has a missing daughter who may not even know that he's alive. Reza manages to locate his long-lost child, however, matters become complicated, as her foster parent, Shokuh, the obstetrician who brought her into this world, is less-than-willing to give up the girl whom she fully considers to be her daughter.
