Synopsis
A semi-abstract biopic about a little-known Icelandic composer Jon Leifs--husband of Jewish concert pianist Annie Riethof--whose career path fell victim to the tumultuous events leading up to, and including World War II Germany. The story begins in 19030 Germany when Jon falls in love and marries a Jewish girl. His quest for success becomes a quest for survival, his love for music has to fight his love for his wife and two daughters. Facing two impossible choices, he finds his life turning into a Greek tragedy in a country which is rapidly becoming hell on earth.
