Synopsis

She always hurts the one she loves. In the Italian drama "La Parola Amore Esiste (Notes Of Love)" (1998) Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi stars as a troubled woman whose attempts at finding love are constantly sabotaged by her own self-destructive impulses. In addition to an estranged relationship with her mother, her misery is exacerbated by an unhealthy obsession with her neighbor, a divorced man who soon becomes the target of her erratic behavior. Director Mimmo Calopresti helmed this tragic character study, which also stars Daria Nicolodi and Fabrizio Bentivoglio.
