Synopsis
Margie Thorpe is a sassy, whiskey-sippin' Grande Dame and her mother Alma is a Southern working-class Norma Desmond. In the tradition of "Grey Gardens," this film is an intimate and darkly humorous portrait of a mother-daughter relationship marred by a history of alcoholism, sexual abuse, and mental illness.
