Synopsis
A beautiful model, Scheherazade, has entered a hospital to have an ulcer removed although the tabloids speculate plastic surgery. Dr Storey creeps her out as his attentions become obsessive leading her to assume that he is trying to take advantage of her weakened state. She befriends an anorexic ballerina who believes she gains weight while sleeping and asks to be tied down at night. This surreal feminist fable also includes motifs from "Snow White" and the "Arabian Nights" while progressing toward a similar happy ending.
