Synopsis
A successful architect's world collapses when his obsessive desire to insulate himself from his past undermines the foundation of his marriage, opening the door to an enigmatic Latino writer who exploits his host's paranoia, which precipitates the destruction of the marriage. Racism, xenophobia and human rights are intertwining themes throughout the film. A darkly comic subplot involves a highly eccentric, voyeuristic couple next door, armed with a videocamera.
