Synopsis

Police officer and single father Homer is raising his 10-year-old son Rex alone, after the death of his wife. Known as a bully and a drunk in their Manila neighborhood, Homer is nevertheless a good father. But things change when Homer impulsively shoots a suspected thief, only to realize the suspect was an innocent boy trying to retrieve his tangled kite. Attempting to cover his tracks, Homer doesn't realize that there was one witness to the murder: Rex. Now father and son must struggle with their consciences while neighbors begin an investigation of their own, which snowballs from suspicion into public outrage.
