Synopsis
For the past fifteen years, Pierette has been living a pampered life in Switzerland with her rich second husband. When she decides to leave him, she heads back to Paris and surprises her 21-year-old son Eric with news that she has left his dad for good. Having left everything behind except for a suitcase filled with chic suits and accessories, she looks for work in a tough and crowded job market. However, with her poised and persuasive personality, she takes the city by storm and within a day she has landed a job, fallen in love with a mediagenic priest, found her childhood best friend and has re-introduced herself into the life of the daughter she abandoned when she divorced her first husband. However, while outsiders may find her vivacity endearing, Pierette finds that her children require more than charm to compensate for years of benign neglect.
