Synopsis
A botanist, Fumihisa, who lives alone in a forest discovers that some of his rare trees are used to make Stradivarius violins. A Tokyo detective chases a young shoplifter, Sazanami, who always steals on the same day each month. These two stories seem separate, but begin to cross each other mysteriously on July 25, a date that has significance for both the botanist and the shoplifter.
