Synopsis
Small town doctor Bruno Sachs is a friendly man, amiably chatting with all of his patients and never taking on a cold business-like manner. The entire town depends upon and appreciates Dr Sachs, who works at the regional hospital and runs a private practice. Nevertheless, Sachs is lonesome and so when he meets Pauline, who comes to him for an abortion, the two start up a relationship. Pauline's cheerfulness is exactly what Sachs needs and the two make a good match.
