Synopsis
Kang-li is a young girl who comes home for summer vacatyion to a small fishing town near Taipei. There she cares for her retarded younger brother, her blind relatives, and her father who has recently been injured in a car accident in which her mother was killed. The only relief she gets is from Ah Ping, a young man she fancies even though she soon finds out that he is from a family of gangsters.
