Synopsis

Three stories, set on the Iranian island of Kish. In "The Greek Ship" a poor man decorates his home with cardboard boxes advertising international companies. His wife has a terrible phobia of foreigners and the boxes make her crazy. In "The Ring (an Order)", a young student comes to the island to make money for his studies, but finds that his sister's fiancee may need some of his savings. In "The Door", a man crosses the desert with his daughter, a goat, and an antique door. Then the postman arrives, knocking on his door to deliver some unwelcome news.
