Synopsis

An exploration of the recent convergence of feminism and rock and how each is influenced by the other in the 1990s. Some of today's most tenacious singer/songwriters including Sinead O'Connor, Tori Amos, Shirley Manson of Garbage, Skin from Skunk Anansie, and Ani DiFranco, prove that female rockers need not be sweet or soft-spoken.
