Synopsis
A gothic melodrama about the four adult children of a uniquely dysfunctional family gathered at their ancestral home on orders from their tyro father. Although all four children live indepedent lives, as soon as they enter the family home, they fall into old patterns of submission to their father's will. Their mother is sick and very much under her husband's control. The father forces Aldo into an arranged marriage, and in the aftermath of the wedding, family secrets are revealed and each family member is forced to take some kind of stand.
