Synopsis
Ladu and Radi live in a backwater village in Hungary. The main entertainment, and indeed contact with the outside world, is cinema, and the boys are avid moviegoers. One winter, the courier dies and the villagers are left isolated. Unknown to them, the rest of Hungary is revolting against Communism. Radi and Ladu improvise movies, splicing together clips from the old films they have. The villagers are so inspired by these "new" films that they undertake a revolution of their own, against the restrictions of their own community.
