Synopsis

A series of mini-dramas that take place in LA includes the story of a young girl who gets involved with a man who carries a gun in his glove compartment because he is afraid of highway violence. She leaves him just before he becomes the victim of a drive-by shooting. Another story concerns a famous actor arriving home after winning the Academy Award. His jealous lover, an out-of-work actor bets the statue on a pool game but does not survive the night, leaving the famous actor to spend the night with a teenage hooker who convinces him he might not be gay after all.
