Synopsis
Greece, 1949: the civil war is coming to an end with the right wing goverment supported by Britain and the USA in power. A small band of leftist guerillas is hiding out in the caves on the island of Ikaria, dependent on villagers bringing them food. While the police occupy the village trying to get the inhabitants to betray the guerillas, the guerillas debate the possibility of retreat.
