Synopsis

The spritual and physical odessey of a man traversing the the sandy Californian coastline of Baja in search of his grandmother's gravesite. Damian is a successful artist with a wife who is pregnant. However he is forced to flee his family and work when he accidentally kills a woman crossing the Mexico-Californian border. He returns to his family's ancestral home of Baja, where he confronts not just personal demons, but those of indigenous peoples, Mexican history, and ultimately his own mortality.
