Synopsis
On December 26, 1929, Andy Bahr, a 62 year old Laplander, set out from Alaska on a 3,000 mile trek. His destination was for Canada's Northwest Territories aided by a small team of Lapp herdsmen, Inuit guides and three thousand reindeer. This reindeer drive was expected to last 18 months, instead it took six years.
