Synopsis
A series of six interlocking episodes that use comedy and irony to examine chance, coincidence, fate, atonement, and forgiveness. The first is set in Kokura, Japan in 1945, where the inhabitants remain unaware that until a last minute change of plans, they were to be the target of the atom bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima. In Prague, 50 years later, some women raise the ghost of the Enola Gay pilot, who asks forgiveness for what he did.
