Synopsis
In a remote Iranian desert village the children attend a one-room school house, and drink water from a large communal terracotta jar. One day a crack appears in the jar, and suddenly parent-child relationships, the teacher's authority, and even the power structure within the village are thrown into question. One parent's attempt to fix the vessel and other's effort to raise money to purchase a new one lead to rumors and misunderstandings aplenty.
