Synopsis
Three characters are caught in the play of social forces in a wealthy, superficially westernized desert city that is still dominated by its traditional past. One is a beautiful, frustrated woman who worships money and becomes involved with another woman who's in charge of installing a new library at the woman's university. A male professor is the third character who comes between them.
