Synopsis
Having no luck getting his novel published, writer Jarvis Scott is advised to write something sexier. So when he begins to overhear his next door neighbor, aspiring actress Dani Payson, fighting with her boyfriend, he starts taking notes. Soon he finds himself attracted to Dani and they begin an affair, providing him with even better material. Jarvis finishes the book, sells it and the film rights and is now on Hollywood's fast track. But when he learns that Dani is up for the female lead in the film adapation, he is convinced that she had an ulterior motive for her relationship with him and his feelings of betrayal lead him into a plot for revenge.
