Synopsis
Just before his death in Seoul, an old man asks his friend, a poet, and his son to bury him on his native Kwinsong, a distant island off Korea's Southern Coast. The plan is thwarted when the islanders refuse to let the body come ashore. As the poet tries to negotiate, he discovers past unhealed wounds remaining from the Korean War.
