Synopsis
Set in 1868 Madrid, while the monarchy of Isabel II is being menaced by revolutionaries, a conservative fencing master, for whom fencing is an art that eclipses all other human endeavors, accepts as his pupil a strikingly beautiful young woman, who has approached him for mysterious reasons.
