Synopsis
Set in rural Iran, a tale of love imperiled by social convention as shown through the bittersweet convergence of two social opposites--Nobar and Rasul--who must tackle resistance to their union from all sides of the spectrum: Here, an elderly farmer and factory-owner falls in love with one of his workers following his wife's death. His daughters and in-laws are outraged, and the old man must choose between conformity and happiness.
