Synopsis
Michael Lee, a Chinese biologist, lives with his photographer wife, Jenny, in Los Angeles. They are eager to have a child. Unfortunately, Jenny has an ectopic pregnancy and loses both her uterus and fetus. The couple then seek a surrogate mother but are unable to find a satisfactory candidate. Desperation finally leads to an idea: Michael will have the baby! With help from Jenny and his scientific colleagues and using knowledge from his own pioneering research, Michael succeeds in becoming pregnant.
