Synopsis
A young political activist is driven to desperation after she is released from prison and finds her former lover and mentor happily married and assimilated into the mainstream of the "new" Taiwan. Through flashbacks we see their shared political fervor during the Formosa incident of 1979 at which time he was imprisoned and she turned zealously to terrorist tactics.
