Synopsis

Madame Marianne Saint-Ange, a wealthy disciple of the Marquis de Sade, allows herself to be seduced by the father of Eugenie, a virginal adolescent, on the condition that Eugenie spend the weekend on Marianne's island retreat. There, the young girl meets Mirvel, Marianne's stepbrother, and Augustin, a Negro servant, both of whom are Marianne's lovers. After being drugged, Eugenie is forced to participate in an orgy and is tortured by a cult of sadists led by Dolmance, preparing her for sacrifice. In the morning, Marianne insists that Eugenie merely suffered a nightmare, but Eugenie realizes the truth. When Mirvel attacks her, she stabs him. Dolmance arrives but chooses Marianne as the cultists' next victim; Eugenie then kills her and flees. Later, apparently awakening from a nightmare, Eugenie is asked by Marianne to join her for a weekend on the island.
