Synopsis
During semester break college students Susan and Gwen visit Puerto Rico, where Susan hopes to persuade Larry Devon, a dropout, to marry her, and Gwen intends to shed all inhibition and lose her virginity. Larry, now an aspiring composer and band leader, is supported by his father, Charles, a San Juan construction tycoon. Although Susan rejects Larry when he refuses to join his father's business, he quickly attracts another woman. Gwen makes love with Larry's former college friend, Bob, who, realizing that she is seriously attached to him, remorsefully abandons his playboy pursuits. Converted by one of Larry's songs, Charles Devon adopts his son's lifestyle.
