Synopsis
October, a poor orphan, is forced to wed the local boss's son. On the day of their wedding, however, she is given the choice of marrying either the son or a drunken hobo. October chooses the hobo, who is actually Quigley, a rich English lord in search of oil. The two escape his murderous female cousin Elfrida by crossing the Canadian border. The two then fall in love, and decide to continue their unusual marriage.
