Synopsis
Violin virtuoso David McCare has had a number of affairs with members of his adoring female public and refuses to disappoint his fans even after he marries Diana Strongwell. As a result, Diana divorces him. Then, after David marries Edna Carewe, he becomes involved with Arlene Allaire, a cabaret performer. Now, however, it is David--not the woman--who falls obsessively in love, and so, when he discovers that Arlene is involved with a number of men, he shoots himself. Diana, who has never stopped loving David, takes her mortally wounded ex-husband to her home and then pays Arlene, who is glad to be rid of David, to come to his bedside and embrace him so that he may die in her arms.
